What we’re listening to right now: The Tiller & The Tide’s debut album, ‘Nero’s Prospect’

The Tiller and the Tide is a Berlin-based band who put together a blend of acoustic sounds and soft vocals to make atmospheric tracks.

The band was formed in 2010, when singer Robert Eder and Stephen Willis, who had been making music together before, joined with Markus Wagner and Johannes Sens.

Their debut album Nero’s Prospect was released in 2013, after 18 months of intensive work. The group’s next full-length is set to drop later this year.

We talked to lead guitarist Stephen about their album and making music in Berlin.
