In possibly the most dream-shattering revelation of today, it has been discovered that buying a house in the Western Sydney suburb of Mt Druitt is now more expensive than buying a house in New York City.
It doesn’t end there though. The median price of a house in Mt Druitt is also more expensive than those located in Paris, Tokyo, Boston and Greater London. In terms of amenities, it seems our northern neighbours are getting a lot more bang for their buck.
