The struggle is real: baby possum can’t get back in mum’s pouch

Apparently, humans are the only one who toss and turn in bed. Baby possums do too!

A baby possum named Plum had trouble taking a nap, not because he wasn’t sleepy, but because he couldn’t fit in his mum’s pouch! The video, taken by ‘Australia and Allsorts’, shows the joey trying to get inside the pouch head first. He keeps clawing away and kicking, but to no avail!

His mum even tries to help out, but after a few more failed attempts, she too gives up. ‘Possums joeys are pretty much like that’, said Australia and Allsorts, adding that the pouch ‘fits him fine once he’s in there’.
