Turns out there’s a wizarding school in the Himalayas. The headmaster is photographer Anshu Agarwal, who taught the pupils the magical game of Quidditch.
Agarwal works as a teacher in a remote village in Garwhal, Utterakhand. To help his students learn English, each Sunday he showed them the Harry Potter films. Soon enough, they too longed to play on flying broomsticks.
“We constructed a nifty one-foot high wooden bench, mimicked some broomsticks as shown in the movies and arranged for a volleyball,” Agarwal told Metro. “As many as 40 children of the village clustered around in different locations of the village for four consecutive Sundays as I captured them hopping on their broomsticks.”
