Mexico City’s concrete jungle spans as far as the eye can see

And you thought your city as overcrowded. These amazing aerial photos taken by Pablo López Luz show the sprawling suburbs of Mexico City that stretch from hill top to deep valleys.

In a video interview (below), Luz said, ‘Flying over Mexico City has always been an overwhelming experience. For ages it seems like the urban landscape with no ending, continually spreading over the hills and flatlands of the city’.

He then goes on to say that when he was young and flying out of Mexico City, the area was so built up and populated that he could still see the city stretching as far as his eye could see for at least 30 minutes after takeoff!
