For three years, photographer Alexander Chin visited various parts of Melbourne over and over to show all four seasons in one frame.
Entitled ‘The Four Seasons of Melbourne’, the time-lapse shows buildings and parks experiencing extreme weather changes in a matter of seconds. For each location, Chin shot 450 photos in 40 minutes. By the end of the project, he had over 14,000 photos for all locations and seasons.
To document consistently, Chin had to remember the exact tripod position and angle, the camera angle, the photo setting and centre of focus.
