25,000 white roses glow to celebrate Valentine’s Day in Hong Kong

Recently in Hong Kong, the city celebrated Valentine’s Day with a display of 25,000 white roses made more romantic with LED lights.

It took six months to plant each individual rose inside Hong Kong’s business district. Each flower contains seven layers of petals that will not wilt and are waterproof. Visitors were able to snap selfies of the fairy-tale like spectacle, making their day at the park look like a day inside a fairy tale.

‘We want to make Hong Kong the most beautiful place in the world for Valentine’s Day’, said Pancom, the creative agency behind the project. The garden of glowing flowers will be on exhibit until February 22 at the Central Promenade.
